I almost fell of my chair when I checked in and found your heart warming reviews and comments. I feel you maybe want to see a few pics from the making of...
This is Benders torso,
Made from a gasol gas tube that started out round and cylindrical at both ends.
It is split in half both from height and width counted. Then the top and the bottom cut off to flatten those areas out. Than inserted pieces to V shape. I dont think I had ever held a Mig welding thingie before this. I also used a sledgehammer because the gas tube had ben run over by a tractor or something, lemme tell you it needed a lot of banging. But I got it for free! *wohoo*
I wish I could make one for everyone of you friends who appreciate Bender.
But at least I can share how I fiddled him together if you want to create your own sidekick Bender's!
Enjoy :)
