My last work...
Below too much info that I prolly erase before I hit admit...
B4 Jazza's Robomance competition I had not doodled in a long looong time. I had a involuntary doodle-break when I broke my back. I have been looking for my last doodle and I think this is it, it is not finished and from what I gather it was an attempt to draw while I was strapped in the bed in intensive care stoned out of my mind on painkillers. I have a vague memory of my best friend Martin stopping by and he brought a vhs tape of the totally prohibited Cannibal Holocaust, we were and are still in to horrormovies, and I think this was a puny detail of that cover that I attempted to interpret in to a bigger picture. But I simply could not hold my large heavy sketchbook up and never finished it. This puts it back some 20 yrs since I held a pen and doodled. There are two more sketches in this sketchbook, another friend the only punker in our puny community, pinched a library book abooot learnin how to sketch and I did two portrats straight out of that book prior to this piece of... doodle above. I would very much like to know what that book was named, pherhaps anyone of you mates can name it? (I will post those two sketches separately in my gallery and name them something "name of book".)
Anyway, the only friend that had the patience to stick around during the almost 5 years until I got my drumsticks working again was my friend Martin and finding this sketch kinda makes me eyes kinda bit wet. Sorry for getting mushy on your axxes but it somehow is a big effin deal to me.
Anyhoos, this was my last and never finished sketch...
