500# Bristol board, with marker and colored pencil. I am trying a few new things here. While filling in the hair with a liner marker, I noticed a few spots that I could not reach. I filled it in with another brand, Micron I think, and it was considerably darker. I figured I would try to fill in the sections of hair that were pushed back more or were naturally darker with this marker, it worked.
With the flag, I was not liking how vibrant it was. It was taking away from the main focus being WW. So I thought I would try and mute it a bit by making it appear as an older flag, one that has been flown for a long time and is stained. I was attempting to give it a "tea stained" look using colored pencil and odorless thinner.
