That's a pretty cool design man, but the presentation is definitely holding it back a bit. Right now you have a lot of one tone, while the shading is pretty great on the character itself you could do to add some highlights on certain spots, not only to give it more pop and definition but to provide some tonal balance with the straight white going on up in the left corner.
