Nice work, I like the different layers of coloring very interesting. :D It looks really accurate as well! The only thing is that it's a little simple... try making a background using the same style.

I love the texture on this Goomba, it looks like a rock statue of it. Plus, great choice of colors, too! Although the sel-out seems a bit confusing, watch out for this on your next pixel-arts!
