Really manly girl, or really girly man?

Wanted to start doing more males, so I did a request for my brother as practice.

This took way too long, and was so stressful, but I had fun anyways lel. <3

This is like the second male chibi I have ever done, so pls no judge..

I tried my best to make it look manly, or at least like a male, but I kinda failed. Oh well, practice makes perfect!

You seem so use to drawing women and girls you have difficulty drawing men or boys. I can tell it is a male though, due to what EmeraldPhoenix has previously mentioned. You could refine your ability to draw male figures more in the future.

I'm in love with this because the whole image is just soft in color and very adorable.
At first glance i thought he was a girl, but then I realized , he's just a chibi!
It's okay if your male chibi aren't manly enough to you, because I struggle with the same thing.
Keep on working on it and you'll be even better!

Maybe people who never seen your work before won't see that it's a male at first. Compared to your females this looks like a male

ShayInator responds:

Very true, maybe after a lot of looking though, they could tell, I dunno, I'll have to try to make it more manly next time. ;v;
