Dying the American Dream

This was based off a concept my friend and I were working on while starting a shirt company. The explosm job opened up and the shirt company kinda took a backseat.

So here's the art. =D All shaded in bic pens

I check this picture out every now and then when looking through my favorites as I try to find inspiration. After so many months since I first found it, I still have such a ladyboner for this picture. The Noose for a tie really is the icing on the cake, and all of the shapes and details are excellent and nothing feels forced or pretentious.

Just thought I'd drop in months after submission and give you another "WOW AWESOME 5/5 BRO!" :) Have a great day.

...This is some deep stuff!! Love it!!
The torn up flag, gas mask, the industry in the background, and the noose neck tie.... damn

Awesome

this could be the cover for one of those vertigo comics , I really like how you gave him this very arrogant / pedantic stance, the noose for a tie is a nice detail.

I dont think the end of the capitalist system is anywhere in sight , but the relegation of the usa to a second class nation as opposed to a world leader is very likely to take place in the next 50 years

10*

I would Love to have this for a shirt.
