I decided to do Mega Man 2 ( 1990) All rights go to Capcom and designers Keiji Inafune · Tokuro Fujiwara · Akira Kitamura · Yuukichan's Papa. I got the original picture from

This picture took me a millennium just to finish the wolf alone lol Done in photoshop using one brush and no effects. I tried to put a lot of small details while staying true to the original composition.
My 5th COTM I'm entering (deadpool vs Jazza(Dramatic Death), Heaven I Can Reach You(Grimataur), Roguestar( Rogue Star) and Twas the night before christmas (Epic Santa).

Your image as a whole is well done. My biggest suggestion is to try not to use black for shadows. Find another color as close to black as you can without it being black. Think of it this way, if something is black it means there is no light there and if there is no light you can't see it. We as an audience want to see everything as much as possible. Also not using black brightens the image and gives it life. Try it next time!

Thanks! I actually was looking at this for a while and trying to figure out what looked weird and that was it. The weird thing is I know that black rule, oh well, ill definitely keep it in mind next time.
Just want to say, that fire-breathing wolf looks amazing, the way you rendered it. To say nothing about the tense atmosphere, the red-hot stones or even the panicky look on Mega Man's face. Well done.
