Author's note: I'm uploading the comic in full like this to eliminate the need to navigate through loads and loads of pages to read the whole thing. It's probably a little jarring the way the pages join together but I think it's better than the alternative.

This is a twenty-two page one-shot about cowboys, vampires and other outrageous things. I plan on self-publishing it in comic-book form and releasing it in select shops around the country, but I figure it'll get a larger audience online, so here it is. Enjoy.

While I can't say that it's something I would normally read, I can tell you spent a while working on it.

But, if you're going to publish it, you're going to have to fix the spelling errors. (exhile->exile) (immagrant->immigrant)

I would also darken up your shading. If you're only going to have a single light and dark tone to depict shading, they had better contrast sharply enough.

What you did well was taking a common horror trope, a situation where characters normally find themselves flipping out or being all dramatic, and making them relatively nonchalant about it.

I'm glad you didn't focus on the guy with all the weapons and skills who's definitely seen some shit. I was much more entertained by some loitering kids that just happen to come in contact with this stereotypical heroic figure, and they spend maybe 5 minutes with the guy and come to the conclusion that he's an asshole and that they're better off leaving him to his own little world where he's the force of justice. You chose not to make it a big fiasco where some regular dildos get plunged into this unknown world of supernatural shit and I respect the story a lot more because of that. It's a perspective that I haven't seen much in mainstream media, so it appeared fresh and original to me, and therefore more enjoyable. I don't know about everybody else, but I prefer a story about some kids just trying to get booze, than an yet another drawn out and over-dramatic adventure with vampires.

But, this is all based on the assumption that this is a stand-alone story. If you wanted to continue, what you could do is have this group of apathetic jack-offs confront other horror cliches in a similar fashion.

As a whole it's something I would be proud of. Your work has obviously paid off here.

Thank you so much for spotting the spelling errors! I proofed it, but I must have missed those. I'll get right on fixing them. You're right, it is intended to be a standalone piece. Thanks for the feedback.

SG3 responds:

I'll see about putting it up for order online. I live in England, so you'd have to pay extra postage though. Thanks for the comment!

SG3 responds:

Yeah, I have about two designs I reuse way too much. I'll try to avoid that in future.
