This is for the Newborn Contest on conceptart.org. I didn't have too much time to work on it because I kept changing my concept. I would've liked to refine it a lot more but today was the deadline so here's the final version. Hope ya like it. =]

Very cool twist on a classic theme.
Phoenixes have gotten popular enough to be almost boring in many cases, but this one exudes originality.
I love the softness and earthiness of the background in comparison with the sharper lines and warm colors of the central image.
The "will-o-the-wisps" floating around add an ethereal touch that is pleasant.
Really killer work.
