Caravaggio inspired painting
Decided to paint a fine art piece, warping the religoius themes you'd often see in the pieces during the Renaissance period.

it really actually reminds me of Frank Frazetta's stuff. i grew up watchin Fire and Ice and my dad has a lot of artbooks by him. brings back some memories.

That horned helmet coming out of the dark is an amazing touch.

Looks fantastic! I love the "dull" paint at work here. The bull skull (or whatever that is supposed to be) looks great- very detailed- and so does the woman ;) Overall, a very well-exected painting from a well-thought out concept.
