Vase in Ink

Share

This is a pen and ink drawing I did of a still set up in art class. I had to use a quill and dip it back into an ink jar every few seconds. Took forever, but was fun, and made me want fortune cookies.

this was really nice

This was a really nice piece you have some really nice detail, like the design within the design then the backround really some beautiful designs and patterens, Maybe the canvus could have been bigger to show more detail, and I have to say your work on "LEAFS" is really well done too very nice detail on this and the whole piece, so nice work here and nice energy you bring to these types of drawings.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
A bigger canvus but again this one is completed but otherwise very nice work.

Haha thanks!
I did this one for a grade in high school. :-) it's ollldddd

Thought this might be a canvas full of detail too! But it's a nice vase. Chapped, but still so perfect... artful place to place it. Reminds of Asia. Makes me want to write a few haikus.

DrSevenSeizeMD responds:

Thank you, I also made this one in high school. :-)

It looks abandoned.

The way of how you have it chipped made me feel like it was cast aside, and how it was taken in by nature, which gives it everything to become the symbol on its base. I love the texture you added to the leaves, vase and canvas, that must have took you a long time to do, not to mention concentration. It looks great, SevenSeize

Thank you good sir. Your words are appreciated like hot blue berry muffins on a Sunday morning.
