This is my entry to Josiah Brooks' (Jazza's) Challenge of the Month Tradigital. This is my first attempt at a true piece of art in my entire life. I am fourteen years old and got my art tablet earlier this month (April) and I started art at the same time. It's rough around the edges, but I must say, I am proud.

I created a piece that shows how similar digital and traditional art can be even with them clashing. To do so I used very different art styles for both but let them share certain aspects of the piece such as the focal point and the sun. For the traditional artwork I used pencil crayons and fine liners and (hopefully) created a cheery mood with a fun aspect. For the digital art I went with a more minimalistic look with a more sleek background.

To make it slightly easier on my self I based the products in this piece on my own. For example, the tablet in the picture is the Wacom Intuos Draw and all of the traditional art tools are the ones I use myself.
