A little bit dark for pastels but still looks nice, good work.

1st attempt at a animal with pastels, i was not happy with the paper as it had little to no texure to it but overall the piece turned out alright

you are right, thats a combination of my camera not really capturing it in appropriate light at 2am in the morning, and i was very tired doing it, i also did it on terrible paper :D however! i endevour to try again with this bird, and do it justice as this was my erm 'entry' my very 1st piece doing an animal in pastels :) but thanks a bunch for the criticism its all helpful and all will go towards helping me improve my artwork :):)
