Shadow quest

Share

Shadow quest is a comic book concept and this is an artwork of the main character.
His name is Kage. He is half Japanese and half Australian. He was born as member of the Kenkage clan, one of the hidden Ninja clans in Japan. As a sort of rite of passage, the Kenkage clan has all their potential ninjaâEUTMs to undergo a final test. They are to leave and have no contact with the clan at all, until they discover what they call, âEUoethe true path to strengthâEU. Once they discover the answer and the clan feels that they have become ready they are reinstated back into the clan as a full member.
Such was the case with Kage. He travelled the world seeking out martial artists, either to defeat them or to learn their techniques. He hoped by doing this he would discover the true path to strength.
He found his way to china once again and there he had an act of kindness done to him by an old man and his young granddaughter. When parting the granddaughter walked in front of a large truck, Kage acted out of pure instinct, not knowing why and pushed the girl out of harmâEUTMs way but putting himself into her place. No time to dodge, he attempted the immovable stance technique. A very advanced and difficult technique he had only seen for the first time the day before, by a martial artist he had defeated. Even if he was able to execute the technique, he knew he didnâEUTMt have enough ki to focus to stop the truck. As the truck hit him with full force he felt a surge of power come through him and astoundingly his footing never moved once and he came out of the incident without a scratch. The truck was wreckage. He knew he came across the answer; he just needed to recognize what gave him the extra strength.
Before he could fully figure it out, a few days later he heard the news of a hostage situation. The man who had taken the two people hostage, an old man and his grandoughter, had killed several police and was calling for kage to come and meet him. Kage found out it was the father of the martial artist he had defeated the day before, the father was seeking to regain the face his family had lost in the defeat, using the two people he helped the day before as bait.
Kage met him and a battle begun. He was getting his royal but kicked. Upon the ground he looked over and saw the old man dead. Strong emotion came through him and he restarted the fight. He no longer fought for himself but to save the life of an innocent. In that instant he felt his ki surge and he defeated the martial artist with ease.
He discovered âEUoethe true path to strengthâEU; it was in helping and protecting the innocent. He adopted the young girl who had become homeless and moved to Australia. There he devoted his time to the true path to strength and the public eventually named him Shadowman.

I like it.

He looks really good, the pose is mysterious and cool, and the coloring is very striking. The only thing I think that should've been included was a background, but that's essentially it.

Love the way he looks so....mysterious with the blindfold on. But the only problem i Can see with this art is his arm span compared to his legs. Or is he wearing stilts

Sentrix responds:

his left arm is comming forward on an angle but I can see how it could look out ^_^

Nice...

Either his skin is very loose aroused the legs or his suit is only tight above the waste but nice picture anyways!
