Sage modern

Share

Sage is a character for an up and coming roll play I'll be in. He's a mercenary magic user in a cyberpunk near future setting. A very disgruntled and dysfunctional person, he always wears his mask and when people ask him why he's wearing it he says: "I find them comfortable." or "Planning to rob a bank." He trapped the soul of his first girlfriend in his sword (never wanted to lose her... yeah kind of twisted) and talks with her often (he erased all her memories except her memory of him) and It looks like he's talking to himself.

Nice.

You are better at each method within this entire piece than I've seen a lot of other artists.
I do quite enjoy his mask, as well. Your color and shading techniques are excellent!

Keep up the good work!
I have favorited this.

Sentrix responds:

Thanks heaps for the favorite my friend. I'm very glad you like the pic ^_^

to be honest

This character is uninspired, in a sea of antihero's/crazy villains or other characters insanity or "twisted" has been done before and better. Just my input.

Sentrix responds:

Ah yes. you see he's a roll play caracter (tabletop rollplaying character, think Dungeons and dragons). I was going for cliche, so I can have fun playing such a familiar charcter type ^_^

Kinda like the mask

THis seems very Fable-esq. Good job except that if he's going to have a helmet then you'll want to cover the entire head. It makes no sense to have only certain parts covered for the sake of style.

Sentrix responds:

Oh the mask isn't for protection. It's for paranoid secrecy ^_^... but he'll say it's because he finds it comfortable.
