At first, I thought this was meant to be like a mechanical heart. It certainly seemed cybernetic. I'm pretty sure it's just an ordinary heart. Well, ordinary hearts don't explode like this. I love how you got down the anatomy pretty well. There appear to be planets or something inside it!

I guess that represents how it's the heart of the galaxy or something. The arteries look so great with the electric style. The blood splatters on the bottom are nice too. It's great to see how they all connect. It's just a very strong picture. I love it!

The song "Stargazer" by Rainbow always comes to mind when I gaze upon this. There's just so much ambition in this image it's unbelievable.
While the art is mostly warm colours, with just a touch of cold ones at the top, this image certainly doesn't give any heartwarming emotions. In fact, it is indeed a realistic vision of what is to happen to the human race, which leaves my mind in sorrow and fills my heart with sadness. As we advance further in technology, we forget what it means to be human and with no regret we disregard what was previously precious for us. Our Home for example.
Those cold colours with every second become bigger and soon will consume the last trace of our humanity.
That's how I view it at least.

Thank you so much for your fantastic comment! Those are some really great ideas. I don't really have specific message with a lot of my drawings, or at least I try not to. I prefer them to be more interpretive. Even for myself, I will sometimes have multiple meanings behind what I draw. I really like your take on it. Where we're going as we advance, what may be gained, what may be lost. We must act responsibly and with care as we move forward and not forget what's important. We must expand on what it means to be human, to became greater than we are, but not change into something completely different.
