I have to say this version's monster thing is way more creepier than the original mockup.

Started making this mockup yesterday on Sunday while created in Gimp.

But I found the original mockup made by Pshyconautics well designed as it shows it's head and the rest of the upper body with six eyes visible from HUD.
So much awesome. You continue to be an inspiration! I love the fading background and the subtle shading of the bad guy on the right. The horn needs a special mention though, thats simply bad ass. And it has given me a great idea for one of my own sprites! Glowing bone sword here we come :D

Whne I see people who make amazing game sprites like this I think to my self. Why dont they just make the sprite alone and give them to some one who can make games.

Good news! Torithefox announced that his shmup game based on his mockup isn't cancelled. It's just that the coding made the development slow but will be released. :)
