Fan art for Treasure who made Alien Soldier 20 years ago (also Newgrounds was created 20 years ago when Alien Soldier wasn't released in North America but via Sega Channel and released in Japan and Europe) and Gunstar Super Heroes 15 years ago. Astroboy Omega Factor for the Game Boy was released in 2003 in Japan and the same following year in North America as Alien Hominid was released in 2004.

Pixel art in style of Waku Waku 7 and Neo Geo Pocket Color done in Gimp.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Wonder if you could present this in a gallery style piece with frames

~X~

These are sick, I especially love the Neo Geo Pocket one (one of the best handheld consoles ever released).

ScepterDPinoy responds:

The Neo Geo Pocket Color deserves some respect if it weren't for that tagline that rivals the Game Boy Color (another awesome handheld before the Game Boy Advance was released).

ACTUAL 8-bit?! I thought everone forgot what that was and just used pixelated sprites.

ScepterDPinoy responds:

Perhaps the one on the bottom of the image is 16-bit while the upper part is arcade graphics. Generally I don't rip sprites and make sprite comics out of it (I don't think sprite rip comics are bad tbo.)
