The Walls of Constantinople

The walls that surrounded the great capital of the Byzantine Empire (now the city of Istanbul, capital of Turkey) held off invaders for over 1,000 years. This model shows a close replica to what a portion of the walls may have looked like. This model took about six hours total. Each wall segment was made from scratch and then imported.
