Now if only Dan Paladin decided to actually use this character in the next Dad & Me game it's more then likely he'll contact you for sure.
I love the way how you animated it, makes me wounder if Dan Paladin will actually consider this idea in the near future.

I didn't get it at first until I read the author's comments. I don't get things easily. Mom makes Dad look like a pansy. Anyways, great drawing.

Sorry, I'm kind of confused as to what you're trying to say.
I like the idea of the apron, but I also agree that its kind of a stereotype. I think she looks fine like she is, but maybe you could draw her apron as a special type of clothing piece. Like, maybe a comic type scene where she's all :-D with her skull apron and then walks into the dining room with some food where Dad and Son are messing with the table settings/throwing the knives and forks at each other and THEN she gets ANGREH FAIC and hits them with a wooden spoon. I thought the original idea was very well done though. And in 45 MINUTES?!? Nice.

And dude, its REALLY not THAT disproportionate at all! I mean think about it.
The genre of the art style that created "Dad", is perfectly suited to whatever disproportional aspects you have within this artwork. Think about it, is there ANYTHING proportional about Dad? I think not lol

i really like this, bout time someone got around to creating mom! Awesome job on the art, i love the style and the coloring is great!
very awesome! The thought of Mom never occurred to me, and you did it quite well. And the disproportionateness... well let me put it this way; Dad is a giant hulking mass of muscle, Kid's got a head that's about a third of his total height, so it would make sense for Mom's body to be a little bit off from real human proportion. THAT'S THE FREAKIN POINT! *not yelling at you, but others who are nit picky picking that out.*
ANYWAY, I completely agree with what A-Shift says, and maybe, just throwing an idea out, give her an apron, maybe with the skull on the center, or designed on a pocket of the apron, you know? or maybe have some hair coming out of her suit?
Shading's good, design is excellent, background is lacking, but suffices.
9/10, 5/5, fav'd, and i didn't know you had an NG account. XD

Good drawing, a bit lacking of environment. I really think the idea of MOM is as simple as good, but it has potential for some more developing.
Instead of DAD's woman dressed in the same purple suit, why don't you explore the possibility of a lovely looking mom, the house-keeping kind of mom that seems sweet and calm and at the same time rules the family with iron fist, making the muscle dad behave during the meals and the little brat tide his room?
Someone dad and his son should love...and fear at the same time?
great work... not stunning though. Could use more texture in the backround to make kind of a feel of movement. Thats the only reason i didnt give it a 10... Nice job though deffinetly great work
This is just my opinion on what Mom uses as a weapon. I was thinking along the lines of a frying pan or an eggbeater. Both seem painful.

I hope im the first to tsay this but I think mom is evolving, from an idea, to an art, this is the first one wheres shes officially called "mom" the other one I saw was a gender bender I just hope for more mom. Maybe an animation or game. or at least a "family portrait" of Dad, son, and mom....maybe grandma.....disturbing thought of mine. I still think that this mom thing is going to become popular, or there will be a whole skullmask family, I really thin this is a nice idea :D

I have always questioned what another character from Dad n' Me and Chainsaw the Children would look like if it was besides the two of them like even one time I thought of grandparents. You did a fantastic job, despite its simplicity I can easily see your effort put into this.
Maybe she don't need be huge in bottom or top... i just an agility version.

..Mind you, I think she'd look pretty funny in conrast to how MASSIVE Dad is.. If I wanted to make her equal to his top-half .. on her bottom half, I might as well make her one of those impossible-to-push-over blow-up toys. :B

Well, since Dad is of brute strength and chainsaw, therefore Mom should be somewhat opposite-ish, so perhaps she may be very fast or dextrous, so perhaps a gruesome weapon like a small scythe or daggers? perhaps even a samurai sword?

For everyone else.. the masks are almost all teh same size, and shouldn't mom be more slender and agile that dad, like in the picture? After all.. how do you think junior got his awesome jumping skills?

Although to be perfectly honest...my first idea was to have Dad go on a rampage into a lone woman's home, cut her stomach open, and find a baby boy inside where he readily adopts him as his son.
She really should have a weapon though. Maybe a Weed-Wacker hence that Dad uses a chainsaw and son uses a Jack knife.
And is it too much to think she would look funnier if she wore a kitchen apron?
That or maybe 'some' hair should be out of her rubber mask. Like a pony tail or just a short length.
But definitely a weapon as the whole family has one.
