So Miracle treat day was August the 13th. A day when Dairy Queen donates about 80% of all profits from Blizzards sold to the Children's Miracle Network / Stollery Children's Fund. On this day, employees from every gigantic corporate office come in and order A TON of blizzards for everybody they work with. This includes Police stations, Fire fighters, Teachers, Mechanics, etc, etc. Random people make donations too. If you've ever gone to partake in this good cause, you can agree that it's sheer and utter MADNESS. Now try and look at it from the other side of the counter:
For the people who don't know me, I work at a Dairy Queen. On Miracle treat day, before our DQ even OPENED, we had TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY SEVEN pre-orders for Blizzards. Morning shift alone sold approximately 680 Blizzards in 5 hours, and evening shift sold around 320 in 4.
AT THE END OF THE DAY, WE MADE AND SOLD OVER 1,000 BLIZZARDS!!!
I tried to keep a tally on the ones I made; I ended up making about 140.

I thought my store can get bad.
I work at papa johns pizza and I occasionally get something as crazy as that ,although our big pre-order is around 10-30 pizzas (that's still about $150-300 for the whole order)
most I have ever seen done in my store is sell over 700 pizzas in one day. but our day starts at 10am and ends at 1am so there may be a few extra hours the store gets. but nonetheless, you did a great job I hope and you deserve a "diddn't go crazy" achievement which is worth 50 points. XD (I read CAD and illwillpress)

A frozen over hell all right. XD and aye, it's always nice to see how the other side reacts to certain things, how the impact is. when I worked at my high school's bookstore, and during registration, when EVERYONE comes to get their books... it is hell. We've got two windows, and a fD*8load of kids coming up, all in a mild-moderate disorder of a line, and all shoving crumpled up, chewed up, and wrinkled schedules for us to get their books, and what REALLY took the cake tho, is that a couple of my co workers were as useless as a rock. And what's more, we were student workers, so we couldn't handle money, or deal with charges on accounts, and one time, i got this one parent in, and she's all freakin yelling at me that her kids don't have these charges on their accounts, and she wants them removed NOW so they can get their books, and i'm trying to tell her that we can't do it, she keeps saying she doesn't care, my boss was busy with something else, and oy vay.
THANKFULLY, i'm not working there anymore. sadly, i'm not working at all. ;_; applied at so many places, no call backs or anything.
and DAMN, 140 blizzards? that's a heck of a lot for one person to make! 0_0

Im sorry, Me and my friends do this on those days. we leave school (durring lunch blocks...or not XD) grab a buncha stuff and take it back to school. XD sorry DQ workers i had no it was like this. This is pretty funny. i didnt get the joke at 1st but now i do haha. (Great work!)
A special day at your job is a great background for art, especialy comedy. I didnt know DQ did that, but sounds like a hell of a lot of work to do. I always get the blizzard of the month, if not, then I randomize it... some how. So i counted the logos and I was wondering if you could tell me if I was wrong or right.

There are...20 DQ LOGOS!...probably wrong x.x.
One thing I have noticed though is that you are able to do your own style in any way you like. Anywhere from Realism, modern, classic, chibi (japanese funny drawings stuff yeah o.o)...bleh blah. All I am saying is that you have a rare talent, the ability to draw however you like without many restrictions. That doesn't come along often.
Great pieces so far, I should know, I hail from many an art project. :)
