A traditionally drawn commission-turned-digital of someone's original character, Maya. She has a lot to do with time and different dimensions in general, so I thought an hourglass might be appropriate to go along with her.

I mucked up the composition and balance really bad in the physical copy, so I tried to compensate by fixing up what I could on Photoshop -- at this point I'm still not entirely happy with it, but IT'S DONE. I HAVE MORE THINGS WAITING TO BE FINISHED. :V

(I'm in school to be an art teacher, so I'm glad that you're learning stuff just by seeing my art - I'm glad it comes naturally!)

moon with star it's symbol of the turkish flag

Sabtastic responds:

Hah - I also told this to the guy who commissioned me. Strangely enough, I made up a symbol like this when I was a kid, too! Found out later that it was the Turkish flag and was super heartbroken. xD

That's not how to use an hourglass, silly!
I like the low-key color palette a lot. Overall well done!
