I absolutely love this!
cool indian warrior/hunter although what does level 36have to do with it and why is her axe blody? did someone get her angry?
I drew her carrying a pelt of some kind, so the bloody axe implies she just skinned an animal.
Showing this to [and teasing] my Native American boyfriend.
"You people like this, right? This is hot, no?"
>:3
Anyway, this is beautiful. I love it.
Oh god, tell him I'm SO sorry... lol
Originally when I made this, I thought it was a cool 'tribute' to aboriginal culture and heritage. Had NOOO idea that this was going to look so bad later down the line.
This piece is so embarrassing to me as an artist when you get into the thick of analyzing it from a feminist and aboriginal heritage perspective... Your boyfriend would know better than I do, but it's a huge HUUGE faux-pas for women to wear feathered war bonnets.
Especially with me being a non-native white girl, I'm basically perpetuating an equivalent to blackface in terms of racism... THIS I only recently found out thanks to a bit of first nations studies in University... Also my boyfriend is Inuit so he helped shed some light, too.
Heh, ANYWAY... Sorry for the guilty rant.
...
...The more you know...!
GOD DAMMEN!, SO F*CKING HOT!
So Tradicional! ^_^!
