Imperator Furiosa

Share

Watched Mad Max this weekend and IT WAS AMAZING. Furiosa was by far the most memorable character I've seen in a movie in a long while. Would highly recommend!

Stayed up past my bedtime to draw it, too. c:< HEH.

Drawn in about 2 hours in India Ink, Pentel Brush Pen, and Steadtler Pigment Liner on Bristol/Card Stock paper.

...Btw I should have a ton of new art posted soon! I'm taking a condensed, intensive art course in University right now so that's where I've been for the past few weeks.

Looks wicked, great work! Dig the monochrome wash look. Keep it up!

The other works I have seen from you have color, so looking at this is a pleasant departure from the usual. I like this a lot, but something about the neck seems a little off to me. Maybe because Furiosa's body is angled to her right while she faces left that I feel like I should see strain in her neck. Regardless, I always enjoy your work and I like the detail in Furiosa's left arm. Cheers

I really like your shading in this-- especially for the interior of the car and Furiosa's head. Love it.

Also I love how it looks like she's replying to something with that look alone, like Max said something and she's just kinda like, 'mk'.

If its just a remke then I'm not even interested but if its a continuation then I might watch it.

Totally new premise in this one. Strong female lead, too!
