The Absolute Fear that Link has on his Face Reminds me of how I felt when first playing Ocarina of Time.

Remember this scary son of a bitch?
He was one of the mini-bosses in the Shadow Temple from Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Encountering the Dead Hand was, and still is, nightmare fuel for me. This guy is just creepy in every aspect of the word.
If you haven't played through Zelda: Ocarina of Time, (THEN WHY HAVEN'T YOU YET?) allow me to enlighten you:
In the game, you're exploring a big, deep, dark temple buried under a cemetery, and it's littered with tons of undead creepy crawlies. The music alone is enough to make '12-year-old you' nervous. In pursuit of a key to the next room, you're eventually locked in a room with several long, pale, lanky arms protruding from the ground in a circle. The only way to go is through the circle of clammy white arms to the door on the other side of the room. You approach the scraggly, wavering limbs carefully -- and SUDDENLY ONE OF THEM LASHES OUT AND GRABS YOU BY THE NECK. You struggle to get free, and you're flipping shit in real life, too, because nothing in your 12-year-old mind could have prepared you for this bed-wettingly terrifying moment. In the same instant that you're grabbed, the Dead Hand explodes out of the ground behind you, and slowly makes its way to where you're standing. If you don't mash the A button like it's the last thing you'll ever do, the Dead Hand will lurch its long, snake-like neck back, un-hinge those unholy jaws on its face and take bites out of you until you die.
Thanks for that, Nintendo.
Anyway...! This took me about 5 hours collectively. I normally don't just go straight to colouring my sketches, but this one seemed creepier with the rough lines and gradients from me dragging my left hand all over the friggin' sketch pencil smears.

Unfortunately, I never got to this part when I played this game in my younger days. I rage quit the game after so many other scary experiences I had before this part :/ Years later after I realized I still never beat Ocarina of Time as a kid, I downloaded an emulator on my laptop and played it. The parts that used to scare me still gave me goosebumps but I still managed to get through, including this enemy you drew (It freaked the heck out of me cause it was my first time seeing it!)
Now that im done telling my life story, just want to say your a really good artist, I like this drawing, and keep up the good work! ^_^
