"Don't move. There's a fly on your nose."
NOTE: This drawing is super old, and I have no intention of fixing it; but the thumb is totally retardedly WRONG. lol I realise / notice this now, and I thank the past reviewers for pointing it out. Was probably just a lazy glitch I overlooked when drawing the line-art. <:P
Drawn with Adobe Photoshop CS3 and a WACOM pen tablet.

im glad im not who took that picture.proble didnt live be the time it develuped.jk.i know its not a picture
I love this pic for the effort placed in it. It does look pretty clear on what's occuring. And the pirate is hawt...but I digress. There are just two little things. One...that damn thumb looks weird...and two, the line thickness on the right hand should be the same on the left...so make them both thin. But other than, pretty gewd.
but you can really see how much more fluent you've gotten with not only your colors but your character's positioning as well.
WOW, the quality of this picture is just fantastic, it was just too good, that i cant really provide any criticism, that's how well made this picture is
p.s. if i wake up in the woods, exactly like in this picture, and this woman tells me don't move, i would ask her, am i in heaven because i think i am looking at an angel
awesomeness
Is that a pirate? ..... pirates kicks ass :D
Works even better if there's stripe
You are by far one of the best artists on new grounds (don't say that oftan). Ive seen most of your work and it all rocks. Keep it up, dont change.
PS: I to am a amature artist and have always wanted to do art on the computer, I would love some pointers on "com-drawing" or art all together
PSS: Also love some tipson where I can download the whole adobe package 4 free plz
good work thanks
This looks like its got story to it, like "why is she so pissed?" and "why does she have her sword pointed at my face?" or my favorites "why am I on the ground?" Emphisis on the "I" anyways. Great lighting with the sun, and nice job on her body and clothing.
The perspective is really well done. I actually do feel as if I'm looking up at her sword tip. The sun also features quite prominently and to good effect in this piece.
As always, your textures, basic drawing, proportions etc. are all top notch.
Gosh darn, fantastic perspective~
Love her corset and disgusted/annoyed expression. Her arm gauntlets are also excellent.
Nothing really to critique except that oddly anorexic thumb. And her chin seems a bit off o.o
Other than that it's great though~
From the way you have dressed the character, the attitude, and the overall feeling of this piece you meant for a Medieval or Renaissance setting. I hate to say it but corsets were not invented until the 19th century. Around the time of new Euro settlements being made throughout the Caribbean. Many people do not know this minor detail so movies continue to spew incorrect historical facts. Other than that the coloring, shading, texture, and line work are good. There are a few proportional errors as well. The most noticeable is her thumb and right arm, no offense but seriously what happened? You did such a great job in making the cutlass protrude from the artwork. This was a very nice piece and you set up a good challenge for yourself in trying to make a perspective work.

Hahaha AAAGH THE THUMB - GOD DAMN.
Before I first posted this pic, I hadn't t noticed how hideous it looks - but now everyone notices! lol .. It bothers me EVERY time I see it now. lol XD
As for the corcet thing; interesting and helpful fact! Thanks! :)
I guess i have some character tweaking to do! :P
It looks like she broke it lol, other than the messed up thumb it's okay.
This picture is pretty darn cool =D
sooo cool! :)
That's her thumb? I thought it was part of the guard for the machete...Man I feel dumb....
You look too hard, I didn't notice until you pointed it out. Gosh, way to ruin my opinion - now i have to give it a 9...
Author's Response:
lol
GOD DAMN, NOW IT'S BUGGING ME TOO.
the left hand has to strong of an outline and the thumb is very squished but the rest is great! good work with the awkward angle
