Blake Belladonna - RWBY

Monochromatic commission of Blake Belladonna from RWBY!

This one was a fun draw, if only because of the gratuitous amounts of black that this character wears. I don't know much about this series either, aside from the fact that it's from Rooster Teeth -- the same studio that makes Red vs. Blue!

Hope you guys like..!

There should be 2 more commissions like this on the way, then I'll be back to posting things in colour.

I really like this weekly thing that rt does, I watch whenever new uploads happen. My favorite episode is probably the one in volume one where team rwby fights the bird, and jnpr fights the scorpion. Great art btw, sorry for what in my eyes looks like rambling. AND Nora is one of my favorites because of her carefree-ness.

Fun! :D

honestly. your skill make me jelly. oh well, i do however want to know exactly what the individual insignias are for. I hope monty has something special in do time.

Not sure who that is but nicely done. I mean it looks nice and smooth. Well drawn. Interesting it being done in blue...almost Van Gough like. Just saying/asking is this a blue period for you?

Sabtastic responds:

Thanks! Glad you think so.

The reason they're all monochromatic like this is because I was only doing black and white commissions, so instead of doing them in black and white, I ended up using blue!

Don't worry I'm not super depressed like Picasso. lol
