genus

My first thought was: she's in the larvae stage. And one day she'll grow up to be like all the other technologically beautiful satellites. But today, she sits among her brethren and looks to the stars to answer her questions.

She knows.

This art is excellent. Like previously stated below, what really sells this piece is her longing expression. All the satellites and the beacons all say one thing to me, they think there is something out there. And she, she knows there is something out there. You can tell by her face she firmly believes that there is something out there, something she is yearning for, that she can just feel it. She won't stop 'till that something is found.

The colors are amazing and work great as it shows how the sun is rising. Just one thing, the girl looks a wee bit anorexic to me almost like she's starving or that could just be me.

I couldn't understand...

I could not understand how this got front page, I mean.. What makes it stand out?

Just a few satellites pointed to the sky?

I mean its pretty, but that's it?

Then I enlarged the picture.

She looked so longing to find someone else out there.. The colors and lighting set such a great atmosphere and mood for her... I had no clue she was even there!

She totally made the picture have emotion and real feeling to it... Just the expression she has made the picture amazingly great.

Awesome job.

great work

I am really picky with the art that I give 10s to... this is really amazing by the way..... as I was looking at it I almost wrote a whole story in my head about why this character was peering in to the distance and alone. there is a lot of story telling in the image and you captured a lot of emotion with the way you chose to paint it. I hope to see more from you.. keep it up!
