Early concept for the Solar Fleet Planet Class Destroyer - Mars the Bringer of War
Of the 9 Planet Class Airships employed by Solara - the League of Civilized Nations, Mars is equipped with the most firepower. The Olympus Cannon it employs has more destructive force than the Saturnian artillery, (though less range). The ship sacrifices armor to maintain a decent cruising speed. It's captained by General Ares Ocastion, who hails from the Wolueran Kingdom.
An old concept for an airship in a mythos I'm titling Song of the Planets - a concept centered around Airships taking their names and titles from Gustav Holst's Planets Suite. I aspire to make an animation of it someday. The technique is a bit off and a lot of the color balance was ruined when I digitized the painting, but I think a lot of the power still comes through. Hope you enjoy.

The colors are absolutely brilliant! And I love how thick and deep the clouds are surrounding your subject. It looks quite powerful.
