"Did I err?" aka Pollice Verso

My entry for the June challenge of the month. Based on the painting "Pollice Verso" by Jean-Léon Gérôme from 1872 - only with my favourite Barbarian in the lead role. "Did I err?" is one of Groo's characteristic phrases after charging into a fray without thinking. In this case, he apparently engaged the referee instead of his gladiator opponent...
It's a traditional piece this time: inked pencil drawing, coloured with copic markers and a coloured pencil for the sand. (Don't mind the upper right corner where a pice of the floor tiles on which I took the photograph is showing).
