Traditional pieces made with BH pencil, ink and watercolor.
When I post characters in watercolor with no background it's because they are made to be copied, cropped, plastified and convert into stickers or "standing gauges" (?) that I use to decorate my library and studio to be inspired. (But I've also selled some of them to comic shops and other people who like to have their favorite characters around). That's why on these pieces I can't put anything on the page beside the character or I would not be able to use them agin (and eventually sell them) the way I do, They're character made to be cropped not illustrations.

I also apologies for this holiday break, I have used it for working on the graphic novel I'm making (I usually work on multiple pages together and I was suggested to leave out the pencils and post only finished and coloured pages so I don't know when they will be ready...and I'm also moving from Lecce to Rome so, from now on, I'll move to a weekly schedule instead of the almost daily one that I used before the holidays until things will be more "costant".

THANKS FOR WATCHING AND WISH ME LUCK :D

some line weights would really help add some depth where the water color couldn't otherwise great stuff

Roberto-De-Luca responds:

Thanks a lot for compliment and the tip! :D You've made me realized that is a common problem with many of my watercolour, wich is strange because I love adding weight on pencil/ink base peaces or things that I'll color in digital, while when I'm working on traditional and I can't know how things will end until they're finish (expecially with watercolour) it's like I'm afraid to be constrained by the lineart. I will be more carefull for the future! (even if the past peaces that I will post for fill the gaps while making new things would probably have the same issue :/)
