Cowboy Bebop really moved me. I think it's a fantastic series and if I could animate a series like that I could die happy. A few of the images in it sumarised emotions so effectively that I was moved to paint my own interpretation. Everyone can relate to universal themes like love, betrayal, duty. I tried to use more vibrant colour than used in the series and bring out more emotion in Julia's expression. There is a great deal hidden in the piece that you sort of infer for yourself.
