All of the art is awesome except the background, it's a tad too simple.Good job!

Great art man I absolutely love the way you made this and wanted to look at it again since I'm doing my Dead Space in December run, it is a great Christmas tradition I now have. Also if you want him look more upclose then you should have made a long corridor behind him that fades to a point. It would make it feel darker and more atmospheric. Just have to focus on backgrounds, your style is great!

You have good perspective and use the right colors.

The flat background kills much of your attempt at a dramatic portrait. Take a look at some of the DS environment art; most of it has a strong sense of perspective and Victorian structural elements to ground the sci-fi world and make it seem more real.

A more dynamic pose, possibly with the "camera" placed higher or lower in the "world" would also help.

Love the lighting, the colors look rustic, sort of like how the WHOLE Game looks. Nice work.
