I love 8-bit games and RPGs so this fun little game really struck me,
I played this Phoenotopia game here on newgrounds for probably close to 50 hours and i was totally addicted to it, so I decided to to make some fan-art for it.

ya, I absolutely loved the game! about my only complaint was sometimes the graphics looked a bit too outdated...
but as for this:
it looks decent enough, if there was 1 thing I would have to point out it would -defenitely- be the 'glare' effect you have going on... it is way, way to much to the point of distracting.
but other then that it is defenitely decent.
I also like how you included all the subitems and upgrades... if only you had the weapons somewhere to, it would've been perfect.
