I dig the bar stool, they have some dimension. But the drinkware on the bar top is throwing me off. The lines are very sharp in comparison to everything else. The result feels like 2D images pasted on a background with more depth and shades.

I'd suggest fading the right edges of the mugs, and re-shaping that white highlight on the mug laying on it's side. Because that just doesn't make sense. The background was made with fewer pixels and your objects in focus were made with too many. But the mugs should still be there because without them you'd have a symmetrical image with nothing to focus on.

You know what's weird?
That people love to critic about stuff but... may i see your stuff?
I am just asking since you are talking like some professional here and if i am going to trust your advice i need to know your skills.

i think the simplicity is nice and it doesn't send the wrong message. The only thing that i can say is that the drinks are very detailed compared to the background. this force of focus can cause the image to become unnatural. i recommend either
1. make the background detailed
2. simplify the drinks.

RedLord93 responds:

Hmm maybe i shouldn't put the drinks there at all.
