Foxy
I think I can envision this piece being part of a bigger flash game or movie in some form or another, and you made it seem that way, and thats what has caught my attention with this one. Very foxy with this one haha no jokes intended but you did a decent job here allthough the black and white is good maybe some added color here and there would be a nice touch up. maybe even some more backround detail about it. notbad work here though. Im not the biggest fan of this style, but I always keep the bias out of my reviews. But I must say this did catch my attention to some point so nice job on that part.

You could even get a little abstract with it, there are different elements and things you can do to make this that IT factor so lets try a few new ideas here. allthough the black and white is good maybe some added color here and there would be a nice touch up. maybe even some more backround detail about it.

Japanese Fox Spirit

Righto, semi-new art, here is an illustration where I hand-traced one of my drawings and converted it into a vector piece (I wanted it to have an origami feel to it, hence the abstract shadows)
[Background/History]:
Japanese fox spirit's are usually found in and around markets, tending to various side-stalls selling food such as:
"Ika somen" (stripped squid sticks, dipped in sauce and sometimes fried) with various other family dishes (including rice balls dipped in vegetable mass). These dishes are often quite tasty, and are revered among Japanese restaurants.
Fox spirits are usually related to highly mischievous and cunning in nature, others are friendly fox spirits, and can do many types of sorcery tricks (as depicted above) to help passer-bye's from misfortune.
These fox spirits can only be seen by selected few people, often in unexpected times - but never found when wanted.
