The skin is done extraordinarily well! The amount of detail in the face contracts with the lack of detail in the hair and shoulder. It keep the viewers eye on the face. Very well done!

Wow, great job. Looks so realistic, everything was done top notch, the eyelashes, the glint in the eyes, the moisture and line detail on the lips, the skin color, the subtle tears, everything.

how do you make the skin so smooth and well blended *mind exsploieds*

thank you :) i think In this one i used "wet on wet" technique for the first phase like laying the mid tones, shadows and light. then after that 3 or 4 layers smoothing things up. these paintings took around 30-40 days each. thats why my oil painting production was so poor. i made like 8-10 paintings a year. its probably why i switched to digital but i do miss the oil from time to time :)
This is the most beautiful painting I've ever seen, fantastic job..
