Personally, I've never experienced sleep paralysis, so I don't know if I really captured in some way the terror of having a horrifying creature looming over one's bed while being totally immobilised. Still, sleep paralysis is truly facinating to me, so when Oney vividly told his experience with the phenomenon I just wanted to create something based on that.
