Whoo, so here we are on Day 2 of Inktober and Drawlloween 2016.

This day called for "Creepy Carnival" so why not go for the puppetmaster of any carnival or circus, the ringmaster.
Something else I'm going to try and do with these is to include a short backstory on each of them for fun so this story is below

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had never been to a carnival before so when mom and dad mentioned that we were going to a Halloween Carnival I was overly excited as any 10 year old could be.
I had always heard stories of creepy clown costumers (those scared me the most), people dressed up as carnival zombies and even props that let out smoke or started talking when you walked by them.

In the car, I was so excited I couldn't stop talking or thinking about my first Halloween experience and the thought of what it might be like to see all the effects and colors like in the movies.

When we got to the carnival grounds, I ran for the big top while my mom and dad strayed behind. We bought our tickets and then took our seats.

The lights went out as the show started and when the spotlight came back on, the ringmaster stood in the middle of the stage with his head lowered.

He was a strange looking little man, with a pointed nose and...no ears?
He smiled a large sharp, toothy grin and a single eye lit up and somehow I knew he was looking straight at me. Fear gripped me instantly and I clung to my mom as she cheered.

"Ladies, and gentlemen, boys and ghouls of all ages! Welcome to "Carnivale Creep"! I promise, our show is the likes of which you have never seen and in the end, you may find your souls are never the same again!" he ended his speech with a high pitched cackle and with a flash he was gone.

As the show went on I noticed an eerie silence began to fall over the crowd. I had hidden my eyes out of fear for most of it.

The ringmaster came on again after the events had ended and gave the closing lines.
"We hoped you enjoyed our little show, we welcome all new acts to the stage now!"

I watched in horror as my mom and dad slowly got up and lumbered towards the stage.

"Mum, dad! Where are you going?!" my mom turned and looked at me with dark eyes like those creepy dolls that you find in a Halloween store. My dad foamed at the mouth, his teeth had grown sharp and he howled as he started walking again towards the stage.

I sat there gripped in fear....
What had happened while I hid? Had there souls really been taken? What kind of carnival was this?

The ringmaster mysteriously appeared beside me on the bench. He chuckled and smiled that toothy smile. "I told you kid, didn't I? You should have heeded my warning. Now your soul shall add another weave to the crack of my whip." He roared with laughter and everything went black....
