Done in 3.5 hours using dry erase markers outside of my college dorm, definitely the most time i've ever spent on a single drawing , only stopping to have dinner. I will be updating as i color it.
Reference from the Monster Book of Manga. Okay here is the story:
In the year 2050, twenty eight years after the final victory of the Robot wars, humans had reversed engineered enough of SkyNet's technology to create robot companions, advanced prosthetics, and computers that could sync with neurons in the body and download copies memories as if they were computer files. Standing atop a 50 story building, a young woman, still in her twenties faces her opponents, three thugs from the Chinese mafia wielding old school AK-47's, screaming at her to come to them. In confident rebellion she took a step back, only to realize why they had been screaming, the building dropped off, in the contemporary style, to the court yard 4 stories below. She quickly grabbed the edge, but it was as she could do to hang on. One of the thugs quickly came over, ripped off her necklace, and continued to kick her in the face. She was now doing a slow back flip toward the courtyard, and wondered, in a sarcastic way, how she would tell her mother, that the necklace she was entrusted with was gone. She woke up on the hard floor of her room. "It was just a dream?" she said as she sat up. "No my lady, you were quite reckless out there," said her faithful robot "we had to do a full body transfer, you are now the first successful human cyborg." "WHAT?!" cried the woman, and as she looked into mirror, she knew it to be true.
