i think it looks really flat on the bottom....back-end is confusing...wings don't really look attached...but I like the lighting, I like the overall design. I like the feeling I get from this one most.

working in blender.

cool, I also work with Blender and currently making my own game with it.
I do like the shadows when the model isn't textured

PoisonHeart responds:

sweet! your practical stuff is incredible, i appreciate your taking the time to see this. blender is really cool, i wish i could get mroe from it. i also wish i could get behind the program more, but i have mixed feelings.

You've got to add color and it'll take care of many of the issues you pointed out. This is cool. Lack of color makes it look unfinished, and unfinished works suffer in their appreciation. This is good. Add some color and you'll be surprised. :)

PoisonHeart responds:

cool, thank you very much! I will see how it looks in the end...UV mapping is probably the way to go, will be very interesting to see how that pans out!

Doesn't have to be aerodynamic to be cool. Just slap some paint on there and it should look sweet! I guess you could make the two tips at the end look more like gun barrels, maybe some other mechanical embellishments, but that could be done with paint and still look like a 3D vessel.

PoisonHeart responds:

ah, yeah! ought to clap some guns on there, maybe some weird tubing and other features to add depth. the painting will be the hard part....

thanks, V!
