"It wasn't until Pilots starting coming back positive for leukemia, vomiting their guts through their noses, that we realized there wasn't anything alive in the cockpit of the alien Fighter that we now call the 'Hunter-Kanser'.
Our best guess was that what we originally believed was the cockpit, was actually a crude exothermic nuclear reactor being used to power the ships systems. And my god, it just emitted radioactive waste in every direction, it wasn't being regulated.

dude! i just the first encounter with the romulans on TNG for the first time, pretty nerve-wracking!
and yeah, it's a kind of grainy-gaussian noise with a slight contrast bump. in the end i like this look a lot, perhaps more shiny.
