"...it can be a summer piece ! and mermaids are shiner in the summer anyways ;)" cit. ANGELXXUAN

DESCRIPTION WRITTEN on 1 August 2012
The project of this work started 23 weeks ago, when I opened a topic in the SANDBOX forum's section on MiniTokyo with the initial sketch :)
For this stage I have to deeply thank Tsuki and Xangel for their help! They gave me really useful suggestions!
From the first sketch to the final one, I made a lot of changes, both in mermaid and background.
And I have to thank a lot of MT's members for help and support in made this : Misa, Angeechan, Cyan, Hitsu-.chan, Tsuki (again XD), SamB, Mirtillo, Aozora (the party-downer :p)

After a third topic in the SandBOX, I finally started to color it! For this stage, I decided to upload my WIP'S screenshoot on DEVIANTART, in the "SCRAPS" category. I edited the file everytime I made some progress, and you can see all of them in the MAKIN OF.. that I published on DeviantART :) [ http://rafuschan.devianta rt.com/art/Making-of-shh-

I changed some little things during this stage, but I have to say that it was funny afterall. I enjoyed expecially making her jewelry, the various fishes and the lights effect. I rather hated to do turtles >.> But I like how they turned out! They just killed me a litte

And this is the final result :) It was really a LOOOOONG work, either because I'm slow in made drawings either because I was really busy in these months, and I abandoned this work a lot of times!

I was able to finish it ONLY thanks to your support, so again THANKS!
Expecially I want to thank for their support in this last part (in addition on who helped me from the beggining): nini (from DA), Leaf, Drakill and angelxxuan :D

Thanks thanks thanks thanks thanks (...) guys!

nice art!

Why exactly aren't you ranked as one of the top newgrounds artists right now

PintaMiMundo responds:

eheh...thanks! :)

Now this is flawless! When I first saw this my eyes gazed at this masterpiece and I was lost for words! Besides,I feel like Newgrounds could use some real artwork sometimes.

PintaMiMundo responds:

Oooh....thanks! I0m happy you liked it so much :3

Very very very impressive! There is an astounding amount of detail here! I love the bright colors, and how you haven't neglected the background at all, in fact thats where most of the details are! I love the way the light shines down from the top of the image, and how the organic parts of the scene (like the moss) have a softer, more 'painted' feel. The tail of the mermaid feels a liiiitle bit unnatural, like it's popping out of her back or something, but thats the only thing I could say to improve on, and thats looking hard for something, because there's so much to be impressed by in this piece, incredible work. Keep it up, and thanks for sharing!

PintaMiMundo responds:

Jazza ** Thanks a lot for this comment! I didn't think you'll answer so fast :p
Yah, I know the prospective of the tail is a little exceeding, but I'm happy that you like the bg! I worked very hard on it! Thanks again! <3
