My entry for this months challenge!

Didn't have much time to do this since school work and projects are piling up.
I picked Arcanine because it is one of my fav pokemon so I wanted to draw a mashup of Arcanine and another pokemon.

Dragonair + Arcanine = Dragonine! Lv9000 (:

IT'S SO FLUFFY!!! I too chose Arcanine as one of my "mashups" and I love the fluff here! Best part of all of Arcanine! My only critique would be the shading. It doesn't really "pop" out too much and, from a distance, the image looks rather flat. But looks awesome overall!

Very cool! It looks so fluffy and huggable!
The only thing I want to point out is that the hind leg looks a bit odd. To me it looks like the foot is pointing at a different angle than the rest of the leg. Other than that, you did a great job!

I actually choose Arcanine ad Dragonair as my two pokemon as well!
Its interesting to see someone choose the same pokemon and come up with a completely different yet equally awesome design!

PinkPear responds:

Thank you! I wanted to make it look fluffy (: and thanks for the feedback! I do see what you mean and I do wish I spent more time on this piece. Awesome to see another design on the same two pokemon with a completely different interpretation of how they would be fused together.

This is a really cool fusion! For a first impression it really catches your eye!

I assume the gray background was intended, but I can't help to think a simple Blue to green gradient could have add this little extra, like you are in an actual battlefield. But overal great work!

Thanks so much for the feedback! Looking at it now i do see that a simple gradient in the background could have helped with the overall piece and maybe in the future I will go back and fix up things! I am glad you liked it overall though (:
