Clay P-Bot

Share

It's Newground's very own P-bot!!! In clay form. :)

I figured the Art portal could use some more clay models in it, so I made one. If I get to future works, you would see miniture clay versions of characters are my main specialty. So I thought P-Bot would be a good first impression of what I can do. Anyway the figure itself stands at 3 1/2 inches but it is hard to support on it's own (since the arms fall off without support/ touching the floor). There is a pack on the back of him but you can't really see it from the angle the camera is (you can see a faint part of it in the reflextion) but it is basically 2 different square tanks with a yellow N and G on each part. There is much better sides I could have taken, but I wanted to show most of the detail in the figure.

Months and months (possibly a year) ago, I originally had the idea of making all of the characters of the 'Newgrounds Rumble' game. (Or maybe even fake NG action figures :3 !) Not that I canned the idea, but lets hear it from you first. If I do carry out more NGR characters, P-bot is the #1 in the series! But no matter what I might do, you will DEFINETLY be seeing more clay from me in future flash or art.

I'm surprised how far you came...

Wow, this not even a year ago, and compared to the newer vesion that is one hell of an upgrade! And heck I know you well enough to know that you've been doing this for like a decade now with Nintendo characters! Keep up the good work!

PikaRobo responds:

Yeah, I wonder what my future models would look like if I keep going...

all your clay figures are awesome

you should borrow a really good camera and take a cool group shot

PikaRobo responds:

Hmm... That is a really good idea. Considering I just use a small digital camera. The problem is many of them have either broken apart a bit or smudged after the long time they have been made. Maybe I'll do a fight scene...

P.S. If you think this one is awesome, you should see the new version...

wow

good start.

PikaRobo responds:

Thanks, I plan on remaking him (with the other bots) for Robot Day.
