EDIT: Fixed Mastermind's arm..

This is my entry for the Awesome Newgrounds 2010 Calendar contest. This monster took me about a week of work and I think this is one of my best pieces so far.
Mastermind was a bitch to draw and made me go emo 3 times over the past week. Dad was a heck lot of fun to draw and I would love to draw him again. The dots around the character were all hand drawn, no special brushes or anything.
Please give a lot of C&C and thanks for viewing.

I like the idea, but you didn't exactly pull it off in an attractive way. It honestly looks like Mastermind has some extremely huge / fat arms where the arm pit almost touches his tit. Dad's arm also seems to be merged with his chest.

I don't like the way they're punching each other. When you punch someone you don't punch with your fingers, you punch with your fist. These two are ready to break each other's hands.

The coloring on Dad is ok. For some reason Mastermind's coloring is really odd and it bugs me. I honestly don't know why, but it does. Maybe it's the light environment he's in with this picture. I won't drop the score for his coloring, specifically.

The background looks good, did you make it yourself? The dots are also pretty good, but I'm not too excited about them being all purple like Dad. Maybe they could have been another color.

Great art but you could have improved it and spent a little more time.

Thanks for the great review! I will update the picture tomorrow and fix Dad's arms. I just noticed It to and I'm glad you pointed it out. I will also try to fix up mastermind a little bit, but I won't make any promises on any huge improvements since Mastermind was already a bitch to draw in the first place.

Edit: Fixed Dad's arm and messed around with the dot's colors.

Edit again: redrew Mastermind's arm.
