A direct result of the ambitious "Alien vs. Yoshi" project, I had to first see if I could draw the damn Xenomorphs.
Starting with a black background, I selected the brush tool, white-colored, and started with the shape of the head, working my way around the body.
This was my very first try at ever drawing the badass Aliens from the movies, and I'm pleased with the results. I added the red blood splatter, and the eye last. Drawn from scratch in Photoshop.

Though I'm pretty sure that I'll never be able to draw as good as this, there are a few things I thought I'd point out before you start your project: they have these weird things on their shoulders that resemble big swimming bands, they have four tubes on their back, each of their fingers is split into two, and I think they have spikes on their knees and elbows. I'm not complaining, I'm just attempting to give you some advice. Also, who's the guy in the background?
Author's Response:
Lol, well hell...looks like you did your research...
...Ummm...this is, uhh...a Yoshi-hybrid Xeno...yeah! That's it! That's why they don't have those things! :D
And the guy in the background was inspired by my own face. I can't say it looks EXACTLY like me, but, there's some resemblance. I just figured it could be some pants-shitting Space Marine, hunting the Xeno from a distance or something...give it a Comic-Booky feel.
good art i like it the aliens series has always been bloody and action packed good art like the style and the background

Author's Response:
Nahh...dreadlocks and fishnets aren't cooler than acid blood and H.R. Giger. :D
Best piece of art I've seen so far. Keep up the good work :D.

From me, or in the Art Portal as a whole?
I'd argue you aren't looking hard enough either way. However, that's my own opinion. Thanks for the ten, and the review. So far, the darker art seems to be more popular.
