A very, very rough, made-up-as-I-went mech rough, one layer nothing but ink over a solid red color layer, and then the color layer further dodged and burned to emphasize dimension. It's not supposed to look great, but I REALLY dug how it came out looking.
This is a concept for a PC game a couple of buddies and I are working on. If Voice of Truth becomes a project with real weight to it, you guys will be among the first to know :D
(Well, here's the deal. That PC game my buddy and I were working on? If he was involved with the project, it would've sucked; he was determined to only use the Unreal Engine, and pay NO ONE to help us out on it...as in, him and I were going to do all of this shit out of our pocket, even though neither of us have had any experience at all in making a game. Every creative or original idea I was trying to come up with was being shot down because "We can't do that in Unreal."
I tried, time and time again, to worry about the operating system last. Citing Duke Nukem Forever's failure as why we shouldn't START on a project that would likely take years with the operating system. He openly laughed at my suggestions when we were brainstorming, and he would have ultimately held back the creative vision I had for this game.
The title "Voice of Truth" was his...it was what he wanted to name his solo guitar album. He can keep it, I'm taking all of the ideas I had for the game, and all of the concept art. The plan is to make what I was devising for the single player campaign and turn it into a web comic. At the moment, I'm still plotting the title, but I have the skeletal structure of the story and quite a bit of the flesh to it :D. I hope you guys will like what's coming.)

Now this is cool! I'm getting a cyberpunk/futuristtic dystopia feel from Voice. I wish you luck in your endevors.

Awesome mech! Good illustration!
I like what you have here! You clearly have a way with drawing and graphics.
Great work man! Its gritty, but in a good way.
I think you have a very solid concept for a web comic!
And don't fret about the lost project with your buddy. I used to record and produce for musicians, and I've found myself at odds with a project involving my two best friends, where I poured a profound amount of effort into, but it ended up falling apart because of the lack of co-operation and due credit. ... It happens. We become better for it.
I'd like to see your web comic once you've begun it!

i bet the rest of its armor is awesome too :) and all those splashes and shadows makes it look a bit creepy and dark.
