What's that thing on its lower right limb? I cannot tell but it looks cool.

Very interesting artwork. I do believe that in the U.S. the church has had a large influence with our political system for a long time but lately science has been able to keep the church checked and balanced for certain things. Many laws and issues deal with church and state barriers like Pro-Choice abortion or stem cell research.

That's supposed to be a gavel covered in insects and spiders. I guess I was feeling BROODY AND DEEP IN SYMBOLISM when I drew that, lmao

The shading is very nice not too mention a great idea. Reminds me of a Warhammer 40k tech priest.
